The RCCA donates time to the clean up and restoration of our streams. We pick up trash along the banks of our streams. We also conduct stream restorations projects to restore the flow of streams to their natural course by tree planting along banks, rebuilding pools, rocks and other natural resources. The removal of invasive species is also be another aspect of this program. These projects are an attempt to correct the waterway back to its original state whether the problems were man made or caused by nature.
The RCCA has committed to picking up litter at least four times per year along Route 150, from Schodack to West Sand Lake.
